Pražské centrum židovských studií Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy ve spolupráci s Kantor Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry, Tel Aviv University si Vás dovoluje pozvat na svou již 4. výroční mezinárodní konferenci s názvem BEING JEWISH IN CENTRAL EUROPE TODAY, která se koná 13. – 15. října, tradičně v Clam-Gallasově paláci. Témata letošní konference jsou vysoce aktuální. Patří mezi ně mj. reprezentace Židů a židovství v současné evropské kultuře, literatuře a médiích; téma identit(y); paměť a připomínání holocaustu; soudobý antisemitismus či interakce minorit a náboženských skupin.Konference se koná pod osobní záštitou Daniela Hermana, ministra kultury České republiky. Spolupořadatelem konference je Archiv hl. m. Prahy. Událost podpořilo Velvyslanectví Státu Izrael v České republice.
